On the Gate

A solo, guerrilla style public art project.  Murals are created in my home studio and installed with minimal public scrutiny.  They are created using local stories or events as inspiration.

Look Up
2022

This is the first iteration of On the gate.  After securing permission from the building owners, I painted in response to the slatted fencing and small fig growing out of the top of the building.  Words read: Look Up You Never Know What You Might See.

Attack of the Killer Pineapples
2023

Created to coincide with the growing popularity of local Halloween street parties, Attack references the businesses in Williams Street – Dayboro Butcher, Johnny’s Pizza Place and Dayboro Gelateria.

2024

Last spotted near Dayboro Butchery”.  One wag responded with “They usually are….”
