The Wonder Wagon offers all kinds of artist-led experiences to communities across City of Moreton Bay. The Wonder Wagon could be anything, like a pop-up gallery, hands-on maker space, or an amazing art installation. Whatever form it takes, The Wonder Wagon and its travelling troupe of artists need your imagination to bring it to life. In this activation I joined creator Sue Loveday and co-facilitator Jennis Ardern to bring to life Stitch the Plover, a giant soft sculpture at multiple venues across the City of Moreton Bay including EcoFest, KiteFest, Music in the Park Scarborough and Bribie Island Seaside Museum Nature Festival. Participants created a plover inspired headband, donned costumes and danced the plover dance under Stitch’s wings.
