Art at Large: Gayundah mural artists
This workshop engages local community members to share knowledge of the history of the Gayundah site and what the site means to the community, as well as provide insights into the artist’s creative practice. The workshop begins with shared storytelling followed by drawing and watercolour painting of found objects - botanicals and rusty items. The activity engages participants in creative techniques they can incorporate into their own artmaking, and encourages deep looking and mindfulness.
