Free, creative, and family-friendly activities are coming to a park near you. The Wonder Wagon offers all kinds of artist-led experiences to communities across City of Moreton Bay. The Wonder Wagon could be anything, like a pop-up gallery, hands-on maker space, or an amazing art installation. Whatever form it takes, The Wonder Wagon and its travelling troupe of artists need your imagination to bring it to life.
Creaturely Encounters with Kylie Harries
Living in Moreton Bay, with nature around every corner, you are bound to have a beautiful, hilarious, or downright frightening experience with some of the creatures that share our homes. I had a chance encounter with a carpet snake while hanging out the washing one day and wondered if others had stories to share about the creatures that live with us. Inspired by the encounter, I invited participants of this creative activation to add funny, scary or inspiring stories to the Storyline by drawing, illustrating or writing. The activation travelled to several community events around City of Moreton Bay region including Music in the Park Dayboro, EcoFest, Sips and Sounds Warner, Anywhere Festival and Craftival.
