Harvesting Stories: Artefact Exploration

Step into a world of creativity and storytelling with artist and fifth generation farmer Kylie Harries as part of City of Moreton Bay Museum’s Harvest exhibition.  In her workshop ‘Harvesting Stories – Artefact Exploration’, Kylie invites visitors of all ages to explore the richness of the region’s agricultural history through slow looking, visual storytelling and creativity.  The art of recording memories, recollections and wonderings is transformed into an immersive, hands-on adventure that celebrates the vibrant tapestry of local farming communities.  Embrace the spirit of discovery and curiosity through drawing and watercolour painting.  Whether you’re a budding writer, an experienced artist or simply curious, this hands on 2 hour workshop offers a unique chance to connect and create, with incredible historical farming objects and artefacts as inspiration.
