Visual artist and storyteller

Kylie Harries is a multidisciplinary Australian artist whose research and process led practice integrates found and foraged materials, photography, video, painting and installation.  Her work navigates the intersection of feminism, sustainability, and place informed by her roles as mother, daughter, educator and woman farmer.  Incorporating images and text from photographic and written archives, she illuminates the transient and liminal spaces between past and present, uncovering forgotten and erased histories.
